Team Building Events

When I first began working at my present company, I was blown away how management was strong on the building of office relationships. We would have team building events were we would take part of the day and hang out somewhere outside of the company. We call it a "Team Building Event". The purpose of this event was not just to sit around but to engage in activities that would allow us to strengthen our personal relations. When you get down to business, it’s hard to collaborate as a team if we cannot collaborate personally. This is exactly what every church can benefit from. Why was our Youth Alive Scavenger Hunt so successful? We had to get on the same frequency to produce an effective team. We had to learn to pull together as a team in order to win. Fellowship is vital, but imagine what we could form from "Team Building Events"?
