Fit vs. Unfit? That's not the question.

I finished Dr. Leonard Sweet’s book, Summoned to Lead. What a wonderful book! After finishing, I was compelled to research Ernest Shackleton. He was not what I expected him to look like. I imagined this huge man with muscles bulging out from everywhere. I was surprised to see such a normal looking man. At that time, I started laughing at myself for being like a little child who thinks of a Super Hero as someone who can move buildings. But what if we did this to those who walked into the church? What if we classified them as "fit" versus "unfit" before they qualified themselves? We might have a lot of Super Heroes, but no leaders. Imagine how many leaders would be passed by.

I think this Scripture fits:
1Sam. 16:7 But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.
